The door should slide right out of the top track once you ve freed it from the bottom track.

Remove the sliding glass door from the track by lifting up pulling the bottom forward and out.
Use a putty knife to remove the excess after it dries.
Once the door is completely loose from the frame set it aside somewhere safe such as against the side of the house or lying flat on a work bench.
Cover the foam insulation with trim and add a small amount of caulk to the visible joint between the trim and interior wall area.
Place the door horizontal on the saw horses.
Position sheet plastic on the floor of a covered space and two saw horses.
On the bottom edge of the door you ll notice a cap.
Use paintable silicone caulk around the exterior door casing.
To remove the screen door use a flathead screwdriver.
Spray lubricant into the hole on the edge of the door.
Determine the size of the screwdriver you ll need reach back into the gap with your screwdriver and adjust that screw counter clockwise as far as it will go.
Place the straw attached to the lubricant into the hole and press the trigger.
Remove this cap because as you ll notice it is covering a gap inside of which is a screw.
If your sliding glass doors don t have the screen door then you may move on to the next step.
Look for the hole in the door over the tracks or on the inside of the door.

Open the door and ask your helper to slightly lift the screen door.
Remove the door by pulling it out of the top track of the door frame.
